Drawing Design I and II
This is the series to take if you want to learn to draw realistically and then learn ways to give your imagination the creative problem solving skills of choosing when imagination or realism will be the focus of your work. You will try out a variety of styles in order to develop a personal style in your own work. You will learn ways to make any thing you create more appealing by learning how to use the elements and principles of design. Subject matter will include still life, faces, people, discovered images through play, letter forms and images of your choosing. Media will include pencils, ink, oil pastels, chalk, paint, collage and mixed media. In D/DI focus on learning basics culminating with drawing faces with effective use of values.
